The volume to be moved, the distance, the location are still the 3 main factors on which is built a price estimate including of course and the number of movers involved. Choosing 2 or 3 movers is also a matter of price. At moving cargo, we did some counting and adjustment and today we can officially confirm that with us, whether you opt for 2 or 3 movers, there is no difference on your final bill, unless you have a very small move! A move executed by 2 movers will take more time as compared to one with 3 movers, but the hourly fee is lower whereas with 3 movers the hourly rate is higher. However, it takes less time! So, how many movers do you need for your move? 2 or 3 men?
How many movers should I hire for my move is the most frequent and controversial issue. There are companies that advise you to take 3 movers or 2 or 4, etc. We will present our opinion based on our experience and the cases we have witnessed in our business as a moving service provider. We recommend you go for a team of 2 movers when you move the equivalent of a 1 ½ to 4 ½ to the full, or just the big pieces of a 5 ½. Some situations however may require that you to hire 3 movers such as: the presence of various of floors to climb, a large number of boxes (60 boxes +, an electric bed, a marble table, assembly and disassembly of your furniture, packaging of your belongings, etc.) We recommend to opt for a team of 3 movers if you move the equivalent of a 4 ½, 5 ½, 6 ½ and + in total. Some situations may require you to hire 4 movers such as: the presence of various of floors to climb, house with garage or shed, house on several levels or volume to move you also have to have a very large truck (26 feet and +) etc.
We offer fixed prices for piano moves and for furniture deliveries because we know how long it can take. We do not provide fixed prices for moving apartments, houses, offices, etc.

Each move is individual and the requirements of each client are different. The price of a move will depend on the volume to move, the volume of objects, parking, floor, presence or absence of elevator, etc. The work is calculated on an hourly basis and the rate / schedule will be provided in advance, which will prevent the hidden costs.
We charge a minimum of two hours of work + an additional hour of transportation, so three hours.
It’s hard to answer the questions of time and the cost of your move. The total cost may vary from one customer to another. Generally, we calculate +/- 1h – 1h30 per piece to pack, load, unload the big furniture at the new address.

But of course, the formula does not work if you only have a piece of furniture in a room or for example if you move a 3 1/2 of a second floor to the third floor without elevators or a move with a total of 20 boxes is not not the same as a move with 100 boxes.
We automatically charge an hour commute for all removals in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, etc. The extra hour of travel is used to cover the time and expenses of the company to reach your starting address and to return from your final address to our home address.
If you are moving on date or a day in high demand, such as: a last Saturday or Sunday of the month, last dates of the month, the last 10 days of June and of course July 1, we recommend booking well in advance.
